We love when dancers come into the studio excited and eager to learn. However, that energy must be channeled with focus and respect for your teachers and peers. All faculty will review their individual class expectations, but these universal etiquette rules apply to every class:
Raise your hand if you have a question. Do not interrupt, as your teacher may already be addressing your concern.
Use the restroom before or in-between classes.
Arrive on time. Dancers arriving more than 15 minutes late may not participate and will need to observe and take notes.
Only water is permitted in class.
No talking while the teacher is speaking.
Hair must be secured out of the face. It should not need adjusting during class.
If you arrive late, ask the instructor for permission to join class. If granted, warm up fully before participating. If not, observe and make up the class later if it’s a requirement.
Bring a positive attitude and open mindset.
