Meet the Team

Alyssa Urrutia is proud to be a faculty member at Elevation Studios. She trained at Alegria Dance Theater from ages 3-10 and Elevation Studios from 2008 when the studio opened through her high school graduation, making it especially meaningful to now return as a teacher and mentor. Alyssa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dance from California State University, Long Beach, where she expanded her knowledge of movement, anatomy, and performance. She also has a strong background in Pilates, which continues to influence her approach to movement and overall wellness.

She is passionate about the role movement plays in everyday life and strives to share that with each of her students. Alyssa is dedicated to helping dancers grow not only in their technique, but also in their confidence, discipline, and love for the art form. Whether students continue dancing long term or not, she aims to instill lifelong lessons by encouraging them to be strong leaders, attentive listeners, and kind individuals.

Above all, Alyssa strives to create a supportive and engaging environment where students can have fun, feel confident, and develop a genuine love for dance.
